The railway station Kájov is located on the eastern outskirts of the village of Kájov near Český Krumlov, on the line No. 194 České Budějovice - Černý Kříž. The proposed new design of the station is a follow-up to the long-term concept of the construction renewal and modernisation of passenger stations managed by Správa železnic s.o., which aims to bring the existing passenger station buildings to a state suitable for use by the travelling public in the 21st century. The subject of the construction proposal is the complete removal of the existing passenger station building, which is in a state of disrepair, and the construction of a new passenger station building in the form of a roofed waiting room for passengers and tempered stores and substations.
